SPA is more than just another educational institute. Over the years Ronald Rampersad, the CEO/Founder of SPA, analysed the needs of the working population in Trinidad & Tobago and recognized several core training needs in the workplace. As a result, Mr. Rampersad established School of Practical Accounting in 1998 with the intention of successfully providing short, Job-Training courses, to suit the needs of the workforce.

Our Institute recognizes the importance of degrees, associate degrees and other qualifications. However, we believe that without proper training in practical skills and techniques, students with recognized degrees and higher qualifications may not be able to apply their theoretical knowledge effectively on the job.

In addition, our foundation level courses in Accounting, Management and Information Technology assists business owners and employees to gain the necessary tools to be excellent in the chosen area, without having to commit to studying years to attain a degree or diploma.
