We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent to lead and manage a dynamic team within a growing organization.

 

This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and availability of plant systems and equipment while maintaining compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead E&I team and ICT section, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Provide technical authority for E&I activities across project life cycles.
  • Oversee maintenance strategies, turnarounds, and major capital projects to minimize downtime.
  • Manage contractor interfaces, inventory of critical spares, and cost control practices.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ, ISO standards, and accurate CMMS updates.
  • Drive team development, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  • Prepare technical reports, budgets, and KPIs while promoting continuous improvement.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas, with 7 years in supervisory roles handling EPC contracts, maintenance, and turnarounds.
  • ICT certifications are an asset.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in process plant maintenance, PLC/DCS systems, and power systems.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering standards, Process Safety Management, and ISO systems.
  • Proven leadership, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and engineering software.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage complex projects.
  • Previous experience in methanol or similar petrochemical processes is an asset.
