Job Title: Distribution Support Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Distribution Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient mobilization of the delivery team throughout the complete delivery cycle daily. This role requires strong coordination skills and a solutions-driven approach to ensure smooth and reliable delivery operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the efficient mobilization of all routes including efficient turnaround in reload scenarios.
  • Liaising with the Warehouse daily to ensure the efficiency of the overall load/offload process.
  • Coordinating the functions of the Dispatch process throughout the cycle.
  • Creating and submitting daily reports relating to the day’s delivery cycle.
  • Escalating any issues that arise during the load/offload process to relevant parties for speedy resolution.
  • Monitoring the daily distribution cycle and investigating and escalating any anomalies to relevant parties.
  • Liaising with the Logistics, Sales, Warehouse and Customer Service Departments toward the efficient mobilization of delivery personnel and product.
  • Prioritizing the utilization of delivery personnel in alignment with the business’ core goals and objectives.
  • Liaising with external parties where necessary to assist with the completion of 100% of daily deliveries.
  • Ensuring working knowledge of the Business’ standard operating procedures.
  • Any other job-related duties as designated by the Internal Distribution Analyst.

Requirements & Competencies

  • Evidence of a sound educational background.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in a distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Basic).
  • SAP experience (Intermediate).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated and proactive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused, driven, and committed professional.
  • Genuine team player 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
