Internal relations:
• Reports to the Manager of Product & Marketing
• Liaises with the Category/Business Development Managers of other brands
• Frequent communication with buyers to ensure inventory levels
External relations:
• Responsible for the relationship with the vendor at the operational level
• Any contact with the media is expected to support public relations efforts
4. Additional Dimensions:
This position will be responsible for selling the products of the brands and try to ensure a healthy gross margin. Inventory levels will be measured in rotation and shall be in accordance with the objectives of the Cash Conversion Cycle of the corporation.
The functions mentioned above provide examples of the type of work to be performed by employees assigned to this classification of charge. The Department reserves the right to add, modify, change or terminate some tasks and make adjustments as necessary.
5. Required Skills:
Education and / or Experience:
The minimum educational requirement is Tertiary training in Business, Marketing, Sales or Information Technology.
Over 3 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing or Commerce. Ideally the prospectus will have worked as a Product Manager in IT wholesaler, manufacturer Software, any Computer or brand management company.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
The ideal candidate will be practical and results-oriented with a strong inclination and polished negotiation skills. Strong communication skills both written and oral are important. This person will be able to conduct business in Spanish and English.
Work Environment:
This work will be conducted primarily in a fast paced office and in the offices of our clients. Needs to be also available for travel within the country to effectively promote sales of products within the assigned category.
