Collaborates with Branch Manager to design strategies for achieving the targeted sales results.

Core Functions:

  • Collaborates with Branch Manager to design strategies for achieving the targeted sales results.
  • Interacts with entrepreneurs and business owners to develop long term relationships.
  • Analyzes the credit worthiness and the financial health of potential borrowers.
  • Gathers and analyzes financial and market information to assess the soundness of the loan request.
  • Develops and submits proposals in accordance with the loan requirements and also tracks the proposal approval process to achieve timely approval of the application.
  • Liaises with the customer, the Enterprise Underwriting Unit (EUU) and the Service Centres to resolve issues relating to the processing of the loan proposal.
  • Liaises with the Sales Associate to ensure timely completion of the transaction and acceptance by the borrower.
  • Supports the Collections and Debt recovery teams in minimizing the level of loan delinquency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or any other related discipline.
  • Two (2) years’ work experience in investment advisory/portfolio management at a financial institution would be preferred.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Designation or candidacy is an asset.
