POSITION DESCRIPTION: Description Grocery – Wholesale Club – Management – If you are an experienced Sales Representative seeking a new opportunity, Cost-U-Less has the opportunity for you! Cost-U-Less is currently seeking a B2B Sales Representative for our store. As a B2B Sales Rep, you will work with the Store Manager in achieving a high level of operational excellence and achieve performance targets.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Meets with current and prospective customers to sell products and services provided by Cost-U-Less. Continually strives to improve corporate image on each sales call.
AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
• Canvass all business in market area in person and by phone to develop sales from current and prospective customers
• Continuously report on market activities
• Maintain records of sales calls
• Perform any tasks assigned by Store Manager or Regional Manager
• Promotes community relations to the community at large
JOB EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Min of 5 years of experience as a Sales Representative (previous sales, retail or hospitality experience a must; must be able to sell and make appropriate recommendations to customers)
2. High school degree or GED equivalent required
3. Thrives in a fast pace environment
4. Intermediate computer abilities
5. High School or Secondary School diploma or a combination of experience and education required
6. Basic math and reading skills a must
7. Able to work well on own or within a team
8. Self-motivated to work quickly and efficiently to complete the entire task within time limits
9. Able to correctly manage time to meet deadlines and targets
10. Ability to quickly adapt to new working environments, situations, and cultures
11. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record
