Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, fluid checks, brake service, tire rotations, and scheduled servicing as per guidelines.
Conduct mechanical and electrical diagnostics using approved diagnostic tools.
Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, braking systems, electrical systems, and air-conditioning components.
Ensure all repairs meet strict quality assurance standards and the company’s internal SOPs.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work area.
Conduct final checks, road tests (if authorized), and quality inspections before releasing vehicles.
Provide clear technical explanations to Service Advisors or, when required, directly to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Assist in identifying potential vehicle issues and recommending preventive maintenance.
Accurately document all repairs, parts used, labour hours, and diagnostic findings in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Maintain detailed service histories and ensure proper completion of job cards.
Participate in technical training provided to achieve and maintain certification levels.
Stay updated on new vehicle technologies, hybrid systems, and diagnostic procedures.
Contribute ideas to improve workshop efficiency, safety, and service quality.
Skills/Qualifications:
Workshop environment with physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Exposure to automotive fluids, noise, and equipment (PPE provided and mandatory).
