Major Responsibilities included but not limited to:
Daily Supervision of Front Desk, Reservations, Concierge, PBX and Bell services. Recruitment, training and continuous development of staff. Maintaining and training of SOPs. Preparing weekly and monthly forecast reports. Preparing staff schedules. Processing Payroll. Planning and execution of all group bookings. Manager on Duty coverage
Pre-job Requisites:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Manager within the Front Office and Reservations Department within a luxury resort environment. Proven skills in revenue management and channel distribution management. Working knowledge of Tour Operators and On-line Travel Agencies. Proven track record of organizational skills. Ability to provide room projections and forecasts. Experience in training and development of staff. Computer Literate – solid understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Property Management Systems. Knowledge of Springer Miller an asset. Candidates with certification in Hotel Management will be given preference. Ability to work split shifts, evenings and weekends
