About Us:
We are a US based accounting firm providing monthly accounting, tax preparation and planning, and advisory services to small and medium sized businesses. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee workflow, review deliverables, and manage client relationships across a three person team.

This is a leadership position (not data entry) with a clear growth path into Client Portfolio Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly accounting and close process for assigned US clients.
• Review financial statements, workpapers, and bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Compile monthly financials in line with internal deadlines and quality standards.
• Ensure all recurring deliverables are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Manage task assignments and workflow using TaxDome, QuickBooks Online, Karbon, or similar platforms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for routine client inquiries and onboarding.
• Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery, review turnaround times, and accuracy rates.
• Train, mentor, and support staff accountants to improve efficiency and quality.
• Escalate complex technical, accounting, or tax issues to senior leadership as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 3 - 5+ years of accounting experience (public practice, BPO, or outsourced accounting environment preferred).
• Minimum 2 years at the Senior Accountant level with review responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified, or equivalent CPA credential.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and the month-end close process.
• Proven experience communicating directly with clients in a professional environment.
• Excellent review abilities, problem-solving skills, and leadership capability.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide recommendations.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience supporting US-based clients.
• Familiarity with US GAAP concepts.
• Exposure to tools such as Gusto, ADP, Bill.com, Expensify, Dext, or similar platforms.
• Background in BPO or outsourced accounting services.
