ACCOUNTING CLERK -
ACCOUNTING CLERK - LAW FIRM
Law Firm in MANDEVILLE, MANCHESTER is seeking a solution-oriented, mobile, energetic and technology-proficient individual to provide support to Managing Partner
Key Functions
- Regularly update billing on client files by generating statements of account and relevant invoices
- Aggressively and actively manage outstanding invoices and other receivables
- Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets and software
- Posting financial transactions in databases
- Receiving and recording vouchers, cash and checks
- Producing a variety of reports including statements of account, income reports and monthly/quarterly reports
- Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings
- Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records
- Interacting with management, customers, vendors and customers to ensure proper accounting of all payments in and out
- Manage payroll tasks
- Provide assistance in filing GCT and Income Tax returns etc
Minimum Requirements
- A First-Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in the area of Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Project Management, Communication or some field relevant to the job functions above;
- Extremely proficient in the use of Quickbooks Accounting Software, office computer technology generally, to include use of Microsoft Office Suite, Web Browsers, Email Clients and social media;
- Must possess excellent written and oral skills
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
