Senior Completions Engineer

The Senior Completions Engineer designs and supervises well completions and stimulation jobs using applicable related software

EDUCATION

• BSc. Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering or any other related tertiary field of study.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Completions Services Operations.
• Experience in completions and stimulation operations in an offshore environment will be considered a valuable asset.

FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing detailed/technical job designs in accordance with accepted job and client job parameters, utilizing related design software etc., and providing recommendations as necessary. 
• Complement the functions and responsibilities of the Service Engineer in the Completions department to execute Gravel Pack and Stimulation jobs. .
• Develop job estimate for submission to clients.
• Effectively and efficiently execute the full range of completions related services.
• Theory and use of all related tools and equipment.
• Troubleshooting and executing minor repairs on all equipment.
• Performing all applicable engineering and economic calculations.
• Performing Risk Analysis when and where required.
• Monitoring the execution of jobs for adherence to design parameters and collects data on key parameters.
• Coordinating pre job operations to ensure the proper handling, delivery, storage and inventory of materials used on jobs.
• Theory and use of in-depth knowledge of related software applications/programs.
• Ensuring that all jobs are executed safely and efficiently, while maintaining good housekeeping practices at all times.
• Conduct post-job review meetings as required or requested with the intent to identify and capitalize on critical lessons learnt and/or best practices.
• Preparing, compiling and submitting all relevant post-job reporting requirements in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs any other related duties required by management to ensure the successful completion and/or running of TES operations.
