Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles all telephone calls using proper telephone standard.
  • Takes responsibility for logging and resolving all guest complaints immediately.
  • Ensures the timely and efficient processing of each guest request through the entire process.
  • Ensures that calls are serviced in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Read Communications Center log from the previous shift and follow up on all necessary requests.
  • Prioritizes all calls. Gives priority consideration to all safety related calls.
  • Ensures all calls are routed to the proper person that is assigned to handle calls that day.
  • Responsible for the generation and production of the Communications Coordinator reports, ability to spot trends and report those trends to management.
  • Keeps supervisor updated on troubles with the system.
  • Manages and runs the floor in the absence of direct supervision for the shift.
  • Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
  • Coordinate room changes with Uniform Services and complete all changes in the system.
  • Know all safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them. Be aware of accident prevention policy.
  • Strives to learn the job function of the position's immediate supervisor as well as peer level positions that the individual interacts with.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time.
