Warehouse Assistant

The Production Worker is responsible for performing routine duties on an assembly line, feeding raw materials into machinery, assembling goods on production lines, and monitoring the process

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively starts assembly and production machinery at beginning of shift.
  • Monitors equipment to ensure that products are being assembled properly.
  • Makes sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.
  • Sort and pack finish goods/ products.
  • Observes and removes faulty product parts from assembly line.
  • Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards.
  • Affix labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
  • Packs up completed products and prepares them for dispatch or storage.
  • Keeps factory floor clean.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines dictation the production and handling of materials in the factory.
  • Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas
  • Maintaining quality control
  • Following health and safety procedures
  • Properly monitor the production process
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks
  • Store goods and raw materials properly in factory/warehouse

 



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum theree (3) CXCs or CSEC subjects
  • At least two (2) years working experience in a relatable role. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent Time Management and Customer Service skills.
  • Must have a meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment. 
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be reliable and able to function independently and handle a variety of responsibilities under pressure.
