PBS Technologies (Trinidad) Limited is looking for a Procurement Officer to deliver superior procurement and supply service for the organisation to achieve greater profitability through the execution of procurement duties from receipt of order requisition to the delivery of goods by Customs Brokers/Clerks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure superior procurement and supply service to maximise profitability and efficiency
• Manage the supplier contracts in portfolio category of spend portfolio
• Ensure delivery of Service Levels Agreements (SLAs) from international and local suppliers as per agreements
• Compile and analyse required reports
• Ensure the data integrity of unit’s computerised and timely updated of all works undertaken, ensuring proper documentation consistent with ensuring good corporate governance
• Develop and execute for specific category of spend areas
• Improve the profitability of the organization by championing and securing cost reductions
• Develop and manage supplier relationships
• Perform analysis of expenses by area, class of product and by specification
• Manage stakeholders on strategic sourcing initiatives or projects
• Adopt best practices in line with procurement excellence

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Business Management or equivalent combination of qualifications
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar environment
• Legal and contract literacy with an understanding of contracts will be an asset
• Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software
• Highly competent in the use of Customer Relation Management (CRM) and ERP software
• Excellent in communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytic and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent organizational skills
