ORGANIZATIONAL SETTING AND LOCATION The Programme Analyst is located in the Sub-regional office in Jamaica and reports to the UNFPA Deputy Director of the UNFPA Office for the English and Dutch Speaking Caribbean.
JOB PURPOSE The Policy/Programme Analyst provides assistance in the design, planning and management of SRO’s work plans by analyzing relevant political, social and economic trends and providing inputs to project formulation and evaluation, joint programming initiatives and national development frameworks with a particular focus on population dynamics and projections and gender equality relevant to UNFPA programming. The Policy/Programme Analyst provides assistance with policy and programme development, programme management support, and project monitoring and evaluation by using and developing appropriate mechanisms and systems and ensuring compliance with established procedures, and best practices. |
