Massy Wood is currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Analyst with some experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

 

Overview / Responsibilites

 

  •  Assist in investigating and resolving day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management.
  • Responsible for preparation of close-out documents for investigations and meetings to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Supports in providing guidance regarding any issues relating to conditions of employment, salary, benefits and employee relations.
  • Proactively assist in case management of complex employee relations issues.
  • Provides advice and support to key stakeholders on P&O policies, procedures and employment legislation, including performance management, capability, discipline and grievance.
  • Coordinate and assist in delivery of performance and industrial relations training.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations activities and outcomes.
  • Compile data, maintain tracker and prepare reports of employee relations metrics, trends and outcomes for management review.
  • Assist in the management of the interim and annual performance review process.
  • Undertakes offshore and site visits as required.
  • Supports and assist all P&O projects.
  • Undertakes on-call and emergency response duties as and when required.
  • Participates in the review of all company policies and procedures annually and update as required.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in employee relations.
  • Performs all other related job functions as required.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Education & Formal Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline from a recognised university
  • Certificate in Industrial Relations or Labor Laws.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations.
  • Knowledge and experience in Industrial Relations.
  • Knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks.
  • Experience of dealing with industrial and employee relations issues.
  • Seeks ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ability to make decisions in a timely manner and exhibits sound and accurate judgment
  • Intermediate computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and trustworthiness
  • Proficient in Computer Applications including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Preference will be given to National Citizens or Permanent Residents of Trinidad & Tobago
