Designer

Developing design ideas and turning them into a finalized image.

• To work closely with customers’ design and marketing teams to develop packaging ideas that best suit clients' needs while maximising production efficiency.

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers to educate them on proper box handling.
• Provide technical assistance to the customers  with the objective of observing their box handling techniques and identifying their specific needs with respect to the box design.
• Participate in reviews of the production process to improve the quality of the cartons produced.
• Develop and investigate new structures in corrugation, to expand the overall field of action of the organization.
• Administer the equipment and resources of the sample room, striving for improved functioning and overall ability of the same to provide a responsive and efficient service to Winera’s customers.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities coordinated by the Plant Manager.
• Prepare calculations for the fabrication of in-house cutting dies and coordinate the fabrication of in-house cutting dies.
• Provide theoretical performance calculations to verify the suitability of proposed packaging.
• Assist the Sales and Marketing Department in preparing exhibitions of Winera products in any event where Winera participates.
• Coordinate the collection of data related to the production history of cutting dies and printing plates
• To perform quality assurance audits as per relevant standards and audit schedules
