St. Ignatius Catholic School is an independent Catholic school (KG-Year 13) in Grand Cayman with over 620 pupils, approximately 300 of which are in Years 7 – 13. The school began as St. Ignatius Prep School which opened in 1971. St. Ignatius High School opened in 1994 and the two schools formally merged in 2004 to become St. Ignatius Catholic School. Our motto is “Instaurare Omnia in Christo” – to establish all things in Christ. Along with our strong Catholic ethos, we are recognized within the community for our high academic standards and students’ overall personal development. A modified British curriculum is followed to I/GCSE with many students progressing to our A-level programme.
