Tsunami came into being in 1995. The organisation’s creation was born from the idea of changes representative of those which generate the energies of a tsunami. These changes we identified as being necessary within the Caribbean and critical for the evolution of the Maritime sector within CARICOM. The organisation is committed to being the regional leader in the improvement of marine standards. The company is a purely technical and quality oriented organisation which has maintained a team of professionals on an even keel voyage towards achieving a more efficient, safe and pollution conscious marine sector. Our direction and focus has been aimed at being an active stakeholder in the support of Caricom Government Maritime Administrations, Ship-owners, Financial Institutions, Insurers and Oil, Gas and Energy sector players within the region. Training, Quality and Information Systems are an integral part of the company’s Accounts, Operations, Surveying and Inspection, and Administrative Departments. The company also has at this time the only CARICOM based and staffed Naval Architectural Unit which undertakes the full range of technical and design consultative work such as:
- Statutory Surveys
