Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering

Description:

The Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Petroleum Engineering is offered to students with an engineering or equivalent degree other than Petroleum or Geological Engineering. The objective of the programme is to produce graduates with the skill sets that can be immediately useful in the upstream petroleum industries.

The programme consists of a combination of coursework, taught courses and a project thesis, with a focus on students using their initiative, under direction and supervision, to acquire the necessary knowledge to address upstream engineering problems. The instructional pedagogy uses Project Based Learning and Team Study.

Full Time only; One (1) year (12 months) lectures are
scheduled Monday through Saturday from 9:0am-
4:00pm. The programme will begin on August 22nd,2016.

Entry Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Physics or related fields with a minimum cGPA 2.50.
  • A combination of undergraduate education and equivalent experience will also be considered.
