Xsomo International Ltd.

Xsomo International Limited is one of the largest producers of business forms in the English-Speaking Caribbean, having pioneered the manufacture of continuous forms for computers and MICR encoded documents in the region.  Xsomo manufactures over 1,500 metric tons of paper to forms annually in its 2,200 square-meters finished goods plant located in Kingston, Jamaica, and produces in excess of 20 million personalized cheques and 4 million mail pieces in their variable printing division.  In 2001, Xsomo added digital information management to its portfolio of products and services and was able to secure the bid to scan and process 12 million letter-sized forms for the 2001 Census in Jamaica.  Xsomo also won the bid for the 2011 Census, this time processing 24 million letter-sized forms, all within the time-frame established by the Government.

The addition of digital information management was Xsomo’s launch into the provision of technological products and services.  From early on, the Company identified the shift in business reliance on paper-based systems to technological processes and recognized the important role this would play in regional business development.  To do this, Xsomo partnered with a range of ‘best in field’ international technology developers and providers and secured products that can easily be tailored to clients’ need. 

Xsomo’s technological portfolio focuses on IT Infrastructure Cost Rationalization (IICR) and Electronic Document Management (EDM).  IICR includes: virtualization, back-up, cloud computing, web content security, and email archiving.  Through EDM, the Company is able to power various automated workflows and imaging solutions that is capable of processing thousands of transactions for a wide-range of clients.  Xsomo offers software, hardware and project management components for these solutions and provides technical support for all its products and services through a highly skilled technical team that is educated and trained to ensure its clients achieve success with its products. Xsomo has created and installed many solutions in the field of virtualization, EDM, automated data capture and disaster recovery management for many clients in Jamaica and the Caribbean.
