Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited is looking for the ideal team member to fill the position of:
Wealth Advisor (New Kingston, Hope Road, Ocho Rios, and Montego Bay Branches)
The successful candidates will develop and grow long-term client relationships, while supporting the Company’s overall strategic sales plan by focusing on targeted markets and desired industry groups, and achieving set goals and targets for the growth of the client base and portfolio value
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advise potential investors of the company’s products and services, recommend investment options and strategies, and negotiate terms
- Meet goals/targets for market share and growth.
- Be responsible for all client liaisons, including handling all client requests and monitoring existing client accounts
- Develop and implement appropriate strategies for growth by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets, and promoting products and services to those markets.
- Meet goals/targets for market share and growth.
- Target new retail clients by cold calling, networking or through an introductory basis established by the Marketing Department or any other means.
- Initiate relevant documentation for opening accounts in accordance with the company’s guidelines.
- Conduct presentations to prospective clients and groups.
- Be responsible for retention and growth of existing customer relationships and deepen those relationships through cross-selling and up-selling.
- Conduct periodic reviews with clients
- Manage resolution of client issues.
- Ensure Client Service is delivered at the highest standards
Prerequisites:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary level institution
- At least three (3) years of experience in the financial services industry
- Jamaican Securities Certificate
- Strong selling & negotiating skills
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Sound understanding of financial sector instrument and the regulatory environment
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to understand and deal with clients’ individual needs and requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
- High level of enthusiasm
- A valid Driver's License and access to a reliable motor vehicle would be an asset
