WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

A Manufacturing and distribution company in Barataria is seeking to recruit an:

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Areas of Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Production and Inventory Activities
2. Supervise the loading of delivery trucks
3. Assist in establishing and implementing of new policies and procedures for improving Warehouse Operations
4. Follow the FIFO System for using both raw materials and finished goods
5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment
6. Maintain proper records of the use and maintenance of the company vehicle and equipment.
7. Keeps the control of the entrances at the warehouse
8. Assist with cycle counts
9. Supervise weekly and monthly stock checks to ensure that all goods are accounted for accurate control of inventory transactions.
10. Responsible for all transfers of goods to and from locations within the warehouse and cold storage locations.
11. Update inventory System
12. Ensure all goods are received in accordance with the approved purchase orders
13. Reports to the Managing Director

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
2. Al least 3 years’ experience in Warehouse Procedures and Managing Staff
3. Excellent Oral & Communication Skills
4. 5 CXC passes at General Proficiency
5. Knowledge of Peachtree
6. Training in Logistics
