WEDDING MANAGER

The Wedding Manager has a leadership role in the seamless execution of the event of a lifetime. The incumbent in this role will be responsible for all aspects of weddings including sales, service, planning, organization, and communication.

• Must have high emotional intelligence and demonstrate natural passion and enthusiasm for the field
• Proven leadership ability, with experience coaching, monitoring and motivating professional level employees.
• Must enjoy driving sales and expertly managing and growing relationships.
• Detailed oriented with strong project management skills.
• Customer-centric, with the ability to expertly analyze and meet the needs and expectations of clients.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills effectively enabling dialogue with both internal and external clients.
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter with great initiative.
• Must be flexible to allow for assignments on weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Strong administrative and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage inventory, provide relevant and timely reporting, and ensure compliance and maintenance of wedding documentation.

 Qualifications and Experience:

• University Degree in the areas of Hospitality Management or a Business related field preferred
• A minimum of 2 years wedding/social event service management experience in a full service luxury hotel/resort operation
• Proficiency on various information technology platforms preferred
