To supervise DTS Van Sales Representatives, within certain territory of the island, job function will be primarily to ensure that fleet within your supervision, meet monthly sales and route targets. Must be able to Audit route and supervise to maintain maximum Distribution.

After six years Gingerbread Investments Limited (Mr. Toppers) who began with just one 24 oz popcorn machine and a Dream now has its own Manufacturing facility, Distribution Fleet of Vehicles and to date we have over twenty different products and growing.   We are the youngest snack company in the Caribbean and our products are sold in Trinidad
and Tobago, Grenada, Antigua, Barbados, St. Vincent and Jamaica.

Position Title:              VAN SALES SUPERVISOR (South / Central Territory)

Job Summary:

To supervise DTS Van Sales Representatives to ensure that they meet monthly sales route targets 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understands well the geography of South /Central Trinidad and Tobago
  • Ability to monitor a Performance Management System and work accordingly to improve and assist his team as required 
  • Ensures maximum customer distribution to achieve monthly targets.
  • Monitors each Van Sales Representative activities on a progress report that summarizes the coverage, the distribution, number of calls per day, the strike rate and the sales achieved – 100% coverage.
  • Responsible for the general management of the fleet to which you are assigned and report directly to Management.
  • Monitors installation of equipment and strong visibility in all locations
  • Ability to monitor and utilize a Fleet Management System to manage routes and salesmen daily
  • Ensures that Van Sales Representatives fill out and submit a daily report

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:-

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer Oriented
  • Ability to motivate and work with the Salesmen’s
  • Ability to work well under pressure with limited supervision in a fast paced team environment
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Supervisory skills to monitor fleet of vehicles in specific territories ensuring that Representatives achieved maximum Sales
  • Must have skills to motivate and train
  • Must have skills to Audit Routes and generate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports to indicate performance on Route.
  • Performance Management skill
  • DTS experience
  • Must be computer literate, use of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Fleet Management System


Qualifications and Experience:-

  • At least 5 – 10 years experience in Food and Beverage Industry
