Universal Structures Ltd

Universal Structures Limited is a company incorporated under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago and has been in existence for the past nine years, involved in the fabrication and erection of structural steel. Many major projects have been handled by USL (as per list attached) and all were completed on time and within budgets. Our CEO is the front line person responsible for project management with thirty eight years’ experience in this field and is involved in all spheres of the operation. Our Floor Supervisor has twelve years experience and our Fabricators 35 years experience between them. Our welders are proficient in both MIG and electrode welding with a minimum of five years experience. In house services are as follows:

(a) Sand blasting and painting

(b) Safety management

(c) Welding Inspection

(d) Presently at our Fab Shop are four computerized fabricating machines of which three are Beam Line drilling and one Plate Punching machine. We also have a Sand Blasting machine and a Plate Burner for producing castellated beams.

We have implemented an HS&Q management system and always hold tool box meetings at our work shop and sites to keep safety awareness high on the list. Random drug testing is carried out and we have utilized the services of Set Ready & Go Limited to conduct Safety Awareness seminars. Fully constituted weekly management committee meetings are held comprising of the CEO, Accountant, Project Coordinator, Production Supervisor and Safety Officer and this team will be increased as we deem it necessary.
