Who is Tube City IMS Trinidad Limited

Tube City IMS (Trinidad) Limited (TCIMS) is a leading provider of on-site industrial mill services for steel makers worldwide. It is an international Company which set up its Trinidad site in August 2008, and serves as a Contractor to Arcelor Mittal. There are two broad services offered to Arcelor Mittal. Stevedoring and Mill Services.Stevedoring services include operations within the Port and Coil Yard and the use of forklifts, trailer trucks, loaders and ship cranes. Billets and Coils are loaded onto the trailer trucks and transported to the Port for loading into ships. There is heavy emphasis on safety given nature of the operations.

Mill Services include the handling of the collection and transportation of hot slag made at the steel mill and also the transportation of the raw materials used to produce steel such as Brickets and raw scrap. Equipment include: Hotbed Trucks, Loaders, Gradall; Welding Rods; Hot Pit Loaders.
