Responsible for stock taking Complete store operational requirements Maintains customer and employee contact on the work area to ensure that quality service s being applied Identifies current and future customer requirements

 

  1. Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and outlining duties; following up on work results
  2. Maintains customer and employee contact on the work area to ensure that quality service is being applied, orienting and training employees
  3. Maintains store staff job results by coaching/motivating, counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results
  4. Create a program that could help staff/team in doing a better job and actively participate.  Set some standards when it comes to customer satisfaction
  5. Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
  6. Ensures availability of merchandise and services by ordering goods through stock requisition and maintaining inventories
  7. Ensures that the prices and codes of the in store items are correct
  8. Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion and display plans – enhance and re-design showrooms to ensure that items are displayed effectively
  9. Periodically spot check and verify stock; receive and verify goods received from suppliers when necessary
  10. Conducts daily sales and operation assessments and monitors every transaction made in the business – price, calculation, description of item, delivery, etc.
  11. Verify all items before they are loaded on delivery van to ensure that invoice corresponds with amount and description
  12. Handles/Responds to customer complaints
  13.  Ensure that promotional materials are properly displayed and promoted
  14.  Informs all team members of working hours and any other events which may affect the daily operation of the business
  15.  Authorize time-off forms for staff, sign all time cards and forward to H/Office at the beginning of the work week.  Verify, authorize and dispense weekly payroll.
  16. Do random check of cashier’s till, verify deposit and arrange pick-up by Securicor
  17. Verify and authorize DOS, Credit Notes and petty cash
  18.  Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
  19.  Submit weekly written reports to the General Manager regarding all issues relating to the operations at the branch
  20.  Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
  21.  Maintains operations by initiating, co-ordinating and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
  22.  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  23.  Any other related duties as determined by the company
