We are looking for results oriented team players to achieve assigned territory trade marketing objectives that are in line with the national trade marketing plan/brand strategy and the needs of the trade

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To achieve assigned territory trade marketing objectives that are in line with the national trade marketing plan/brand strategy and the needs of the trade in a manner that consistently delivers superior business results

Key Duties:


· Develops and implements a territory trade marketing plan that meets the objectives of the national trade marketing plan and is in line with brand strategy and the needs of the trade


· Manages key trade customers through the development and implementation of account strategies and plans


· Implements national marketing and promotion programmes and develops and implements customised programmes that conform with legislation and best practices


· Establishes close working relationships with trade customers


· Manages financial accounts and assets to ensure that trade marketing resources are secured and used in the most efficient and effective manner possible


· Provides trade marketing information and reports on performance and accounts to the management team 

Required skills, knowledge & qualifications:


· A University Degree from a well-recognised/accredited institution, preferably in Marketing or Management Studies or related discipline

 
· At least 2 years experience as a Territory Representative in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) organisation, preferably one that has incorporated a trade channel approach


· Strong written and oral communication skills as well as negotiation and influencing skills


· Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and/or exceed targets as part of a team
