Telemarketer / Customer Service Representative


Title: Telemarketer / Customer Service Representative

Job Profile:

The Telemarketing/Customer Service Representative provides quality service to our existing and potential customers to drive sales by working with lead lists in addition to inside/outside sales representatives.  The Telemarketer/CSR will be required to answer phones to respond to orders, general customer inquiries, invoice questions, and customer complaints. He/she must always project a professional company image through phone interaction and in-person.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • To drive sales by following up with all relevant sales opportunities
  • To represent company in a positive and professional manner
  • To work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy clients and achieve company goals
  • To provide quality service to the company’s customers in all assigned tasks while upholding our values at all times
  • To update client and contact information in the sales database
  • Conduct follow-up with prospects and customers in a timely manner as required
  • Conduct follow-up internally to ensure customer orders are prepared for pick-up/delivery as per the specified requirements
  • Complete all documentation required in a timely manner
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and co-workers
  • Required to achieve a pre-determined daily call volume and sales quotas
  • The ability to negotiate & to handle customer queries & conflicts
  • To prepare administrative reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Any other duties, as assigned

Skills & Specifications:

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to operate under pressure, achieve goals and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal direction.
  • Build excellent working relationship to attain goals.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member.
  • Be self-motivated, confident & energetic.
  • Communicate excellently both orally and written

  • Positive Attitude and Strong Work Ethic


  • Minimum five (5) GCE O’ level, CXC orCapepasses, including Math and English.
  • Must be proficient with computers - MS Word & MS Excel
  • Draughting Experience an asset
  • Sales Experience an asset
  • A valid driver’s license would be an asset
