Technology Change Control Manager
Primary objective of the job:
As the Technology Change Control Manager, you will be responsible for the Change and Configuration Management Process design, implementation and execution for the Regional Networks and for each Network in all Digicel Markets.
The Change Control Manager will act in 3 main steps of the Configuration and Change life-cycle:
- Define the process and tools that will govern the Global Change Control
- Setup and organize the CCB (Change Control Board) and act as approver for all major changes in the Regional Network
- Oversee the implementation of the process in all Digicel Markets
This position requires close work with all engineering teams, Market CTOs and NOCs in the Digicel Organization.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Definition of Change Control process
- Define the Change Management Process
- Procure and select the tools and systems to govern the process
- Implement the process with the different teams, including:
o Switching
o IP
o Transmission
o Signaling
o VAS
- Define and implement the process in the main Hubs and dependent Markets in a centralized system
- Work with the teams to manage exceptions and incompliance to the process
Setup and Manage the Regional Changes CCB (Change Control Board)
- Setup the process for Regional Network Changes Governance
- Participate in the CCB and act as approver of planned works
- Ensure that proper communication is managed with all stakeholders from potentially affected services
- Setup and implement a set of reports and KPIs to govern the process
Oversee the Change Management implementation in all Markets
- Define the process for individual markets
- Oversee the implementation of the process in each Digicel Market
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
* Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent field.
* More than 3 years' experience in Telecoms in the Operations Department
* 2 or more years of practical experience in Change Management or Supervision/Managing functions in a Network Operations Center
Functional Skills:
* Be able Interface well with both technical and non-technical people
* Working knowledge of GSM
* Working knowledge of Netcool, Solarwinds and Remedy
* Troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Knowledge of Ericsson OSS
* Knowledge of IP Networking and associate technologies
Internal/External contacts:
* Equipment manufacturers/supplier
* Various application support engineers and staff
* Network operation center staff
Authority: (those task in which there is total control and autonomy in execution - e.g. approving vouchers, signing cheques, delegating task.) Please state limits where possible.
* Approval of Network Changes
