We are in the process of recruiting a Technical Supervisor to join our Nestlé Professional team.
The primary role of the Technical Supervisor is to assure Nestlé Professional technical operations according to established KPI’s, managing human and material resources related with CAPEX Trade Assets (TA) investment, operational best practices development and implementation, information systems management, developing and executing short, medium and long term strategies focused on guaranteeing the service delivered to the customer and gaining consumer preference.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervision and development of team to achieve results and meet current and future business requirements.
- Leading the preventative maintenance process, defining processes, driving improvements and achieving KPI targets.
- Maintenance and testing of equipment, parts and product to be used in repairs, as well as updates to the guidelines and technical procedures.
- Accountability for machines, spare parts management (reception, storage, accounting) and other assets (Tools, etc.), ensuring the accuracy of inventory and the proper use of resources.
- Ensuring communication and compliance with quality, safety and other standards including GMP.
- Management of technical product complaints, ensuring the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures.
- Define, Review, update and communicate Trade Asset Optimization Management Best Practices.
To be our preferred candidate, you MUST have:
- Qualified Technician (Electrical Certificate/Diploma or equivalent) and/or Degree in related field.
- At least two (2) years experience in a similar capacity.
- Prior experience in a beverage, food or other distribution environment with familiarity with quality, GMP and hygiene regulations preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite applications; business management software (SAP preferred).
- Time management, delegation and organization skills with strong problem solving ability.
- Ability to grow relationships with business partners and to supervise and develop employees.
- Unquestionable focus on results – the commitment to get things done.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have strong work ethic, be detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to deliver results. S/he will also possess excellent planning, analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
