TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST

The Client is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist who will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close of activity.  Works with the sales and sales support teams for achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long term
account goals in line with company vision and values.  

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals
• Make sales calls to new and existing clients and respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
• Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• Negotiate with clients and follow up on sales activities
• Develop and maintain a customer database
• Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
• Assist in the implementation of the company Marketing plans as needed
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relations
• Conduct product training and perform quality checks on product and service delivery
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up with management
• Conduct market research and surveys.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

 We will consider various combinations of education and experience – however the basic requirements are:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and marketing 
• Significant engineering background accompanied by business qualifications and experience.
• Bsc in Marketing or other relevant degree
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision 
• Results oriented, with excellent orgnisational, communicative and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
