Process Components Limited (ProCom) is an authorised supplier of OEM products to the industrial, oilfield and energy sectors.  ProCom is seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Electrical Team Leader.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • To service and repair equipment in accordance with mutually agreed upon internal and external customer requirements, in a timely and effective manner.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.                   Planning and executing projects.

2.                   Supervises the installation and commissioning of jobs on customers' site as required.

3.                   Seeks new business and clients.

4.                   Collects data on assigned jobs, verifies and seeks additional data at customer’s site.

5.                   Sources materials, plant and equipment required for jobs.

6.                   Conducts visual inspection of equipment.

7.                   Conducts field tests.

8.                   Trouble shooting and problem solving with new designs for customers, where applicable.

9.                   Support Sales personnel on technical matters.

10.               Disassembles, cleans and inspects equipment.

11.               Evaluates equipment against O.E.M. specification.

12.               Places components as per approved quotation and in accordance with O.E.M. specification.

13.               Tests equipment performance characteristics and troubleshoots further as required.

14.               Delivers, installs and tests equipment at customers, site.

15.               Report and record corrective/Preventive actions.

16.                Any other related duties as assigned.

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education:

  •    Electrical Electronics Engineer Technicians (EEET) Diploma (minimum).
    •    Tropical Basic Offshore Induction & Emergency Training (TBOSIET)
    •    or other Offshore Safety training (FOET, TFOET)
    •    Permit To Work Training.
    •    BP Golden Rules of Safety Training.
    •    Ladder Logic Controls or Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Training.

 

 

Experience:

  •    At least five (5) years experience in a similar work environment.
  •    Three (3) years experience in a supervisory position.
  •  Mechanical maintenance experience in engines, pumps and compressors.

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Holder of a valid Wireman’s License.
    •  Read and interpret wiring diagrams.
    •  Knowledge in conducting Risk Assessments and Job Safety Assessment.
    •  Microsoft Word and Excel capabilities.
    •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    •  Excellent trouble-shooting techniques.
    •  Valid Driver's Permit.
    •  A valid PLEA Passport.
    •  A valid UKOOA Medical.
    •  An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
