IBEX Global- Jamaica is seeking a BPO Trainer with experience training for International Telecommunications company.
IBEX Global is seeking a Trainer. A Trainer will deliver and facilitate adult classroom training in support of client programs to ensure superior workforce preparation; specifically with front line representative level employees.When not teaching new employees, Trainers will help assist all training needs and help develop reserve trainers. Qualified applicants must be willing to travel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Observe, lead, and co-lead new hire and on-going training.
-Demonstrate skills using word processor and presentation software applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Pages and Keynote.
-Conduct formal walk-through of training materials and work with Training Manager about course development, as necessary.
-Demonstrate effective classroom management skills.
-Facilitate transition of students from training into production, and ensuring competency levels are sufficient.
-Participate in client meetings for material and curriculum updates and to ensure appropriate changes are included in future classes.
-Work closely with Training Manager to develop classroom delivery strategies including multi-media preparation.
-Utilize effective presentation skills including creative training techniques and adult/accelerated learning techniques.
-Review classroom agendas, timelines and content flow as necessary to deliver effective training to students.
-Complete daily tracking, including end of day course evaluations and trainee assessments.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, and HR procedures.
-Provide basic support for technical and systems training.
-Summarize course and trainer evaluations for management review.
-Other duties as assigned.
Desired Attributes:
-Progressive experience as a technical support agent or 6-12 months training experience, preferably in a call center environment.
-Bachelor Degree in Business, Education or related field.
-Experience with Windows or Mac based programs, Internet protocol, web-based instructional methods and MS Office Suite.
The primary function of this position is to deliver technical training in a classroom setting. This may require standing for long periods, using a computer and other business machines extensively.
While the schedule is generally Monday through Friday, candidates must be able to work between the hours of 3:00 am – 11:30 pm, seven days a week. Trainers must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, holidays, and emergency shifts as required.
