Job Summary
The incumbent to oversee the day to day administration and ongoing development of Multi-Purpose Community-Based Telecentre (MCT) facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• To formulate and organize training programmes for implementation at the MCT.
• To develop the programming content for the MCT.
• To liaise with the various community based stakeholders (CBOs, NGOs, Private Sector, Government and private citizens) to ensure that the various interests are represented.
• To maintain the Local Area Network (LAN) and data communication infrastructure.
• To make recommendations for the continued development of the Centre.
• To ensure all computer systems and equipment are maintained.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• B.Sc in Computer Science or Management Information System.
• Microsoft Office Specialist Certification (MOS).
• A+ Certification.
• Network + Certification.
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).
• Experience as a trainer and the ability to effectively impart knowledge would be an asset.
