Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for planning, directing and organizing activities, and supervising staff involved in purchasing, warehousing, distribution and inventory activities. He/she makes decisions regarding the movement, storage and processing of inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and to provide for effective and efficient operations. The Supply Chain Officer will determine and implement maximum and minimum stock levels to ensure adequate stock at all times; maintain space, equipment, and supplies; and will manage inventory, transfers and product rotation. Work also includes developing record keeping procedures and managing appropriate department records in accordance with applicable regulation, policies and standards.
