Provides Customer Service at all points of customer interaction, determines customer needs and offers optional products in a professional and courteous manner.
THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Developing and maintaining satisfactory customer relationships with both internal and external customers.
Supervision of cashiers as well as writing receipts, receiving cash and acting as relief cashier when necessary.
Ensures all cash transactions are properly carried out, balanced and recorded in conformance with established Company proceedures. These may include: cash register pickup, bank deposits, cash floats, change, disbursements and receipts.
Ensures cash is removed from cash registers, tallied, secured and banked on a regular basis in accordance with established Company procedures in order to minimize security risks.
Adheres to Company cash handling and pick up procedure, when issuing cash to stations and removing excess cash from stations.
Summaries sent to Head Office within two (2) days.
Summaries sent daily close to end of month.
Ensure employees' times are properly recorded and submitted on time to Head Office and employees are paid accordingly at the prescribed time.
Ensures all relevant documents including daily sales, journals, balance sheets, credits, goods receipts, bills, collection reports, statistical data and all required accounting documents are properly processed, completed and submitted to the relevant authority within the prescribed time in conformance with established Company procedures.
Maintaining of receipts and deposit books for cashiers.
Temporary assisting NMRSL with cash control when necessary
Sequencing of documents and maintaining accurate control systems as well as ensuring receipts are filed in correct order.
Processing of all bills received from customers for payment via Sure-Pay.
Printing of daily reports relevant to transactions and balancing cash drawers on a daily basis.
Keeping accurate records of balancing transactions to ensure that all books and insight entries are accurate daily
Making receipts and other mails
Ensure that all send and receive forms are completed in accordance with Compliance policies and regulations.
Establishes and maintains effective office procedures which include but are not limited to suitable filing systems, adequate security measure and confidentiality of documentation, tidiness and good house keeping.
Essential Job Requirements
Diploma in Business Management or related field.
5 C.X.C. O’ Level passes including Mathematics, English and Principles of Accounts.
At least 2 years experience in a Supervisory position in a Customer Service environment.
Proficient in use of computer applications in particular Microsoft suite of products.
