Superior Rigging & Testing Limited was established in June 2007 to introduce local industry an alternative for supplying rigging gear and rigging equipment management, inspection, supply and rental.
The management and employees of Superior Rigging & Testing Limited (SRTL) have 12 years of experience in the inspection and the manufacturing of slings and accessories. All lifting gear is manufactured and inspected in accordance with the highest British/European Standards and American standards by trained and competent personnel.

Rigging Gear Inspection & Certification

SRTL covers all your inspection needs when it comes to rigging gear. SRTL provides all required periodic inspection requirements of wire rope, slings, shackles, chain hoists, chain blocks, winches and ancillary rigging gear; all rigging gear is inspected by competent personnel in accordance with BSI and ASME standards. Re-certification can be executed onsite or in-house. All personnel executing inspections are trained and certified by Cranetech.

Non Destructive Testing

SRTL can provide non destructive testing in the following methods;
VT- Visual Inspection, MT-Magnetic Particle Inspections, PT-Dye Penetrant Inspections. These NDT methods are integral for managing the integrity and safety of your rigging gear and rigging equipment. Trained and certified personnel will execute onsite and in-house NDT inspection of Pad eyes, Rigging Gear and Other equipment or welding NDT inspection is required. All personnel are ASNL Level II trained and certified.

Portable Load Testing

SRTL, through its joint venture relationship with Integricert LLC of Louisiana, has the exclusive rights to provide load testing services with their unique patented portable load testing equipment. This load testing kit is hydraulically powered and has the capability to load test cargo carrying units i.e. cargo boxes, containers, baskets, skids etc to the required container codes (BS 7072, BS 12079 & DNV 2.7-1) up to 120,000 LBS. The kit can also be rigged up to load test a whole host of other gear such as single pad eyes, spreader bars, chain hoists, chain blocks, winches, jacks

and other equipment. There is very little that we can’t load test with this kit. All load Test certificates come with a test graph showing weight and time of load test.

Online Certificate Management

SRTL will provide online certificate management for repeat customers. SRTL conjunction with Integricert has specific online software for managing customer’s load test, NDT and rigging gear inspection certificates. Certificates are filed on an online data base where they are archived under a unique serial number, normally the unique identification number of the piece of gear inspected. Certificates are easily located and can be pilled off the internet and saved on your computer, CD or simply reproduced in print form. All clients will access their documentation via a protected password. SRTL is flagged by the software a week before re-certification is due, thus ensuring re-certification is executed on time.

Additional Service

SRTL stocks wire rope slings, belt slings, shackles and a wide range of other ancillary lifting and rigging products from leading manufacturers such as YOKE, Crosby, Kulkoni & Hacket.

SRTL is fully committed to the implementation and maintenance of our safety and quality systems. This is achieved through a robust auditing process that consistently monitors our systems.
Safety Management System are in place to ensure all unsafe jobs are stopped and all incidents/non-conformances are reported and investigated.
