RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordination of rig site activity to ensure both delivery of safety, environmental performance and effective execution of the well plan.
• Defining and overseeing the work plan, participate and take a lead related to the onshore site, Rig/Vessel safety programs.
• Interfacing with GWO Wells Team to ensure goals are aligned and deliverables are ready when needed
• Participating in well planning and pre-operation meetings to ensure past learning’s are captured and incorporated into well programs and operational steps.
• Responsibility for accurate cost tracking, daily operational reporting, and material/personnel logistics.
• Actively seeking methods to improve operations
• Establishing an excellent working relationship with all site personnel
• Maintaining communication with engineering staff and operations personnel.
• Preparing installation procedures in sufficient detail to examine the potential risks and hazards involved during the installation activities.
• Supporting installation activities by providing knowledge based contact for co-ordination of onshore activity in support of operations
• Identifying work concerns in order to deliver solutions to the offshore installation teams
• Coaching individuals on the work site to improve knowledge in the areas of safety environmental and operations.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Legal authorization to work in country of position on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
• Capable of working and performing in a very active rig operation managing offline activity as well as critical path activity
• Must have a minimum of 15 years industry experience in an offshore capacity
• Experience in supervising personnel during drilling, completions and intervention operations
• Experience with subsea equipment design or manufacturing and ell construction operations background
• An ability to work it experienced and motivated Subsea Wells Operations teams.
• Experience with offshore installation of subsea equipment (jumpers, trees and equivalent) from MODU’s and construction vessels.
• A working knowledge of Completion/Workover riser operations, operability requirements and long term maintenance and inspection requirements
• Experience with moored and dynamically positioned vessel (DPV) operations and design implications for subsea equipment
