Strategy and Business Development Manager

Our Client is seeking to recruit a suitable experienced and qualified Strategy and Business Development Manager.

Reporting to the CEO, the Strategy and Business Development Manager will develop the Carnival industry and build competitive advantages for the organization and the Special Interest Groups  in the relevant business and social
environments through the provision of market research, financial intelligence, strategic support and policy guidance.

 Primary Responsibilities

• Identifying, planning, designing, and implementing  industry development strategies
• Act as a key liaison between the organization  and public and private sector businesses and others within the Entertainment Industry
• Obtain and collate pertinent Industry statistics and other information locally, regionally and internationally to understand the industry and its requirements, and make strategic decisions and determine policy

 Qualification, Experience & Skills

• MBA or Post Graduate qualification in Economics, Business Management, International Relations, or related discipline
• A minimum of eight (8) years’  Senior Management experience
• Knowledge of international developments in tourism, entertainment, leisure, business and finance
• Proven experience in economic planning
• Experience initiating, implementing and managing projects
• Knowledge and experience targeting and generating investment opportunities
• Experience in administration of projects external to Trinidad and Tobago would be an asset.
