Strategy Officer

The position is responsible for providing effective and efficient strategic planning, analysis and execution support to the organization. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage all pre-retreat activities including, but not limited to, enterprise SWOT, and translation of PESTEL analysis.
2. Assist in the detailed and comprehensive strategic planning process including situational analysis; strategy formulation and translation; scenario planning; target setting and initiative designing.
3. Create the tools, templates and adaptation of planning models to be used in the strategy planning and strategy review cycles throughout the year.
4. Support all departments in the preparation of their Cascaded strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s overall strategy.
5. Collate the Bank’s monthly performance report, in the Balanced Scorecard format, for use in Management and Board meetings. 

The required minimum qualifications, experiences and attributes are:

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business or related field.

• Certification in the Balanced Scorecard Methodology would be a definite asset.
• Project Management Certification is desireable.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizing skills.
• Excellent oral and written  communication skills.
• Computer literacy (proficiency  in the use of MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Projects).
• Three (3) years’ experience in a related position - preferably in Development Banking sector.
