JOB SUMMARY:

The Head Store Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the general overseeing of the operation of the store. The incumbent will also assist with the overall supervision of all staff to ensure professional and excellent performance of their duties and to assist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ASSOCIATED DUTIES

  1. Direct and supervise the staff to ensure performance of duties in accordance with the Company’s rules and procedures.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting and responding to customer inquiries and complaints in accordance with company sales and customer service standards.
  3. Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods
  4. Assist with the day to day operations of the store to ensure efficiency
  5. Assist with training and performance evaluations for development of sales associates
  6. Supervise staff to ensure proper execution of duties in the absence of the Manager
  7. Oversee and authorize all financial transactions payments and services with customers as well as exchanges or returns.
  8. Assist with the preparation of timesheets, reports and disciplinary discussions
  9. Recommend, select, and assist with locating clothing and accessories based on customer needs and desires.
  10. Advise customers by providing information on new products, current fashions, sales and promotional items and displays.
  11. Report staffing issues that may affect the operations of the store to the Manager.
  12. Assist with the preparation of stock for purchase counting, sorting, tagging, arranging and pricing items according to pre-determined standards and requirements.
  13. Supervise the secure opening and closing of the store.
  14. Enforce and ensure that employees follow all safety, health, and security policies.
  15. Maintain safe and clean working environment by checking and clearing changing rooms, sorting and re-hanging merchandise, and assisting with maintaining the general cleanliness and appearance of the outlet
  16. Support the development and maintenance of a team environment by performing other related duties.

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Mandatory

  • Associate Degree in Business Management
  • At least one (1) year experience at a supervisory capacity
  • Five (5) CXC passes, inclusive of Mathematics and English

 

Desirable

  • Marketing Experience
  • Computer Literacy
