St. Jude's Hospital is a Statutory Facility. The Hospital was statutorised on April 1, 2003 by the passage of the St. Jude Hospital Act No. 7 of 2003. The Hospital's first Management Board was appointed and formally launched in May 2003. In 1992, the religious body gave up the management of the hospital and returned to the USA. In 1993, the Ministry of Health awarded a contract to Mercy Medical Centre in Des Moines, Iowa for the management of the facility., |
