RECRUITMENT of SPECIALISTS

The Guyana Power and Light Inc. is preparing to implement its Development and Expansion Programme, 2014 – 2018 and is interested in recruiting a number of Specialists to work in an advisory capacity to Divisional Directors, inter alia, in the identification of needs, undertake systems studies as necessary, develop project plans and budgets, manage implementation, supervise works to completion and prepare progress reports.

In this regard GPL Inc. invites applications for the following positions:

• Automation Specialist
• System Planning Specialist
• Loss Reduction Specialist
• Transmission Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Applicants should hold a professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and should have at least ten (10) years relevant and proven experience.
• Previous experience working in Guyana and knowledge of GPL’s operations will be an advantage.
