Duties and Responsibilities

• Study and understand the key features and functionality of Epicor-10, the ERP software being implemented by Organisation.
• Study and understand the Microsoft Azure Cloud based implementation of Epicor-10 adopted , including the various instances of the databases, the process for developing, documenting, testing and rolling out new functionality (see 3 below).
• Receive, discuss, accept, document, track and fulfil periodic requests from Epicor-10 users for database queries, business activity queries, dashboards, reports and charts.
• Receive, discuss, accept, document, track and fulfil periodic specifications for short and medium term projects related to Epicor-10, whose objectives will focus on making the software more useful for our business and making the business more efficient and productive.
• Perform any other software development, documentation, testing and implementation tasks as directed by the ICT manager and the Consultants from time to time.
• Perform user training, support and troubleshooting tasks as directed by the ICT manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Engineering is an essential requirement.
• At least three years’ experience in developing application software on Microsoft technologies including .NET, SQL-Server and SSRS.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, which will be required in order to understand, document and communicate the needs the user community.
• Exposure to any standard software development methodology is desirable.
• Exposure to any standard ERP software is desirable.
• High level of commitment, motivation and orientation toward user education and support are essential requirements for this position.
• Excellent analytical skills and a high level of numeracy will be extremely useful in this position, as these will demonstrate the candidate’s potential to grow into other positions with progressively greater responsibilities.
