Software Analyst/ Programmer 

Department: Product Development Department


SUMMARY OF DUTIES

• Work with the Sales and Management teams to design customer-focused solutions, by customizing and creating new products & services
• Work with developers from large organizations (banks, carriers, government, corporations) to bring to market innovative transaction-based communication, banking and marketing products
• Perform regular testing of the software & hardware products developed by our franchisor and providing clear, detailed, structured feedback
• Develop and use scripts, routines or operational procedures including reporting tools, monitoring tools and other resources to assist the Operations and Sales teams and ensuring that all products are fully available, and reliably supported and monitored.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Good knowledge of C/VBasic/Java/.NET/PHP
• Experience in Map Server, Google Map
• High proficiency in SQL scripting (2000/2005/2008), SQL Server
  
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver quality results
  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• B. Sc. Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent experience and training in the specified area.
• 10+ years in a Software Development team, preferably in an IT related field.
• Experience in Project Management would be an asset.

The following mix of experience and skills would be an asset for the successful candidate:

1. Experience developing integration solutions for Healthcare, Banking, Telecommunications

2. Experience working with a formal software development life cycle
