The candidate must have extensive social media experience. The candidate should be actively participating in wide variety of social media activities such as blogging etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage social media properties (Facebook, My Space, Twitter, Linkedin etc) including daily monitoring, posting and content development.
Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all our brands and implement and manage social media programs.
Moderate forums and chats.Initiate conversation through forums, twitter and postings.
Prepare status reports on social media efforts and success rates.
Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activites (marketing R&D)
Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropiately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media at our brands.
Strategize with and educate the management team and others across the company on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company's products and services
Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts.
REQUIRMENTS
Must have a minimium of one (1) year's experience in this field.
A background in Marketing.
At least an Associates Degree in Marketing or any related field.
Is familiar with standard marketing concepts, practices, and procedures
Has a strong understanding of social networking and social media marketing.
Is extremely social & creative
Has strong writing skills
Is familiar with blogging, social media efficiency tools (such as tweet later) and is active on at least one social media profile site
Has a strong desire and ability to learn
Demonstrated ability to understand marketing and business concepts
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be willing and able to "roll up" his sleeves to help implement the programs
