The Claims Technician is required to provide support to the department to ensure flawless execution of the claims process and a hassle-free customer experience.
Key Accountabilities
Business development/revenue generation

Internal Operations
o Executes the claims process from beginning to end, ensuring that incoming claims are registered, validated and expedited for quick resolution and settlement
o Performs the necessary follows-up with relevant parties and liaises with investigators and adjusters to expedite incoming claims to ensure a seamless transition through all stages of a claim – from accident to claim settlement
o Prepares correspondence for clients, agencies, brokers and other relevant parties involved in settlement of a particular claim
o Record and document all aspects of incoming claims including photos and maintains detailed, organized files for each client
o Analyzes claims to determine when independent adjusters and investigators are necessary for claim resolution
Customer Service and Satisfaction
o Improve the customers’ experience by guiding them through the claims process, addressing their concerns at each juncture in a professional and efficient manner
o Continuously provides customers with service through necessary follow-ups, provision of advice and assisting them with queries.
o Provides technical advice to customers when necessary
