Showroom Consultant Job Description
Job Summary:
Contributes to the achievement of the business goals through active promotions, sales and through an exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a working knowledge of all products, pricing and promotions
Monitors products and ensure low stock levels are brought to the attention of the Showroom Team Leader
Provides an exceptional customer service daily and maintains a friendly disposition.
Works as part of a team with less supervision and follows directions well
Advises customers on the selection, prices of items available, use and care of items and specialized products .Provides information to customers on the full range of products and courteously assists with product selections and purchase decisions, makes recommendations according to customers’ needs
Cashing and processing of customers’ purchases
Ensure the till is closed, balanced at the end of shift and bank deposits are prepared
Assists in the merchandising and displaying items for sale according to the brands visual directives, advertising, sales promotions and display plans.
Assists with the setup of signs and displays to attract customers and promote sales according to visual directives and sales promotions.
Assist with general housekeeping duties as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management.
Must keep information confidential.
